Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move and stack materials
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets
- Safely transport materials within the warehouse or production area
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate products
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks , lift trucks , clamp trucks , Sit-down/Stand up, Reach truck, order pickers, or hi-lo equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in load/unload procedures- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for heavy equipment operation
Skills:
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during operations
