Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and plow trucks to clear snow and ice from commercial properties.
• Drive salt trucks to apply anti-icing and de-icing materials as directed during winter weather events.
• Supervise and coordinate teams of equipment operators, shovelers, and salt truck drivers as a site supervisor or area manager.
• Understand and execute the scope of work required for each snow or ice event, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Manage one or multiple commercial sites based on geographic location and operational needs.
• Maintain communication with team members and management to report progress and address any site-specific challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, or plow trucks.
• Ability to drive and operate salt trucks during winter weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of snow and ice management procedures for commercial properties.
• Leadership skills for supervising teams (for area manager/site supervisor roles).
• Reliable and able to respond promptly during snow and ice events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
