Summary:
Under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator will assist with various HR-related functions. This role provides administrative support, coordination, and project assistance to the HR team. This position is responsible for activities including hiring, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, policy and procedure maintenance, communicating with new hires, collecting and processing onboarding paperwork, data entry into the HRIS system, assisting with benefits, translations, and filing.

Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $25 - $28
Location: 100% on-site at Napa, CA offices

You Will:
Support in key HR areas such as: educating staff on current policy, onboarding, processing new hires, employee changes and terminations, recruiting, job postings, new hire training, and compliance with legal and company standards.
Update and post job descriptions based on hiring needs to career websites and prescreen candidates as they apply.
Directs and handles the recruiting process with third-party staffing services and presents candidates to hiring managers.
Acts as the primary coordinator of employee recruitment, hiring, and orientation; assists with training and ensures completion of all appropriate paperwork for new employees.
Communicates, coordinates, schedules, and attends appointments for hiring managers to interview potential candidates.
Coordinates and posts jobs in the HRIS system and third party sites, manages closing of job postings, and creates job offer letters for the HR Manager to revise.
Communicates and follows up with hiring managers and candidates who have applied for company positions.
Answers employee questions regarding personnel policies, onboarding, procedures, and benefits.
Maintains personnel records, files, and reports; updates company organization charts and employee directories.
Completes forms as required by state and federal employment agencies and departments for signature by the HR Manager.
Responds to questions regarding recruitment matters and other general inquiries.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

You Have:
Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
Must have 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
A 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required.
A valid CA driver’s license and insurable through the company to travel to multiple site locations.
Must possess excellent organizational and customer service skills, along with a professional and pleasant demeanor.
Should have a strong capacity for empathy and a human-centered approach to problem solving.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software is necessary.
Must be able to present ideas effectively, actively listen, and work across functional boundaries.
A results-oriented self-starter with a high energy level is preferred.
Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and a commitment to ethical standards.
Ability to work collaboratively within teams and across departments is important.
Must have attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Experience with Paycom or other HRIS systems is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Working conditions in certain areas of the winery may be cold, wet, slippery, and noisy.
This position involves exposure to hazardous conditions.
Irregular shifts and long hours may be required, especially during harvest season.
Frequent walking, including going up and down stairs and ladders, is necessary.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

The final salary offered will depend on several factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, education, and experience.
