Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine for our client in Oklahoma!
Job Responsibilities
* Provide care in a high-volume emergency department with 36,000 annual visits
* Collaborate with physicians and other APPs to deliver quality emergency care
* Manage patient cases in a Level III Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
* Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
* APPs must have ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
* NPs must be Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified
Working Hours
* Physician coverage: 36 hours per day
* APP coverage: 20 hours per day
* APP shifts: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Skills
* Strong ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department setting
* Proficiency in trauma and stroke care
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Competence in using EPIC EMR
All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!
