Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 Annually + Benefits

Position Overview

The client is seeking a curious, self-starter who specializes in Search Engine Management (SEM). This is a junior-level position with a variety of paid search marketing responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for high-quality execution of paid search activities, all contributing to the successful management of our client's business objectives. The role is dynamic and highly collaborative, in that you will work across multiple work-streams, client rosters, and search tasks. You have worked on a paid search campaign for 6+ months.

The position requires demonstrated expertise in Excel and PowerPoint as well project and time management skills, analytical skills, proactive communication, written and verbal English skills, and the desire to learn and grow within the digital marketing space. Most importantly, you always offer a POV; you're interested in challenges and channel your curiosities into growth opportunities. Google Analytics knowledge is also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Specific search tasks will include, but not be limited to, performing keyword research, writing ad copy, developing search traffic estimates, segmenting keywords into campaign structures and aligning them based on business goals, recommending optimizations and settings across programs, mining and executing negative keywords, budget pacing, bid management and audience analysis.
  • General business tasks will include, but not be limited to, competitive research, thought leadership support, defining best practices, time/task management, project management, and prioritization of activities to meet deadlines.
  • Defining and executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
  • Developing, tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns.
  • Managing campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Execution of activities against deadlines across multiple work-streams; provide proactive communication and effective time management skills.
  • Complete activities according to operating procedures and best practices stemming from team member guidance.
  • Day-to-day engagement, collaboration, and partnering with internal teams will be required.

Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, Business, Economics, or similar.
  • Experience working on a paid search campaign for at least six months.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written; strong language skills are required.
  • Experience working with the SearchAds 360 platform.
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising certifications.
  • Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of search tools such as SEMRush and SpyFu a plus.
  • Intellectually curious and eager to learn through self-education, as well as structured training classes.
  • Self-management of time, able to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
  • High degree of personal accountability and strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to constant learning, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and idea generation.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, time-intensive environment.
  • Energetic, organized, highly motivated, and a fast learner.
  • Mastery of Excel, including extensive data manipulation, along with tactical execution including: pivot tables, V/H Look-ups, concatenation, macros, etc.
