Job Description

Description Job Responsibilities - Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with agency goals and operational priorities. - Supervise and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous learning. - Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective technology solutions. - Collaborate with senior leadership to plan and budget for technology infrastructure, hardware, software, and system upgrades. - Oversee the administration of all network systems, servers, and hardware at multiple sites. - Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of internet, Wi-Fi, phone systems, and user devices across all locations. - Manage system access, security permissions, and backups in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. - Ensure continuity of operations through effective disaster recovery and business continuity planning. - Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, data protection policies, and employee training programs to safeguard sensitive information. - Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments. - Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (FERPA, HIPAA, and data privacy standards). - Oversee help desk operations to ensure timely and effective technical support to staff. - Develop and coordinate staff technology training to enhance digital literacy and system efficiency. - Serve as a liaison between IT and program departments to support technology integration in education and family services. - Partner with program leadership to optimize the use of data systems for Early/Head Start, Parent-Child Education, and Caminos programs. - Support implementation and integration of software platforms for HR, Finance, Grants Management, and Client Data Systems. - Ensure systems are configured to capture accurate data for reporting, compliance, and evaluation. - May require occasional evening or weekend work to support system upgrades or emergencies. - Work is typically performed in an office setting with moderate physical activity.
